Gourmet vegetarian meatballs for dogs, homemade with Diet Flakes: a quick and easy recipe to pamper your four-legged friend!
3 tablespoons of Diet Flakes
2 medium carrots
1 tablespoon of honey
4 tablespoons of whole wheat flour or oat flour
Preheat the oven to 356°F (180°C).
Grate the carrots and squeeze all the water out of the carrots.
Add Diet Flakes, honey and egg and mix with a fork until just combined. Then add flour and keep to mix.
Line a baking sheet with a baking paper. Form the dough into small balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Small and medium – sized dogs: split the dough into 20 balls (about 23kcal per ball)
Large – sized dogs: split the dough into 15 balls (about 30 kcal per ball)
Bake for 15 minutes or 5 minutes longer until the meatballs are firm. Gourmet Vegetarian Meatballs can be kept in the fridge – for up to a few days- or frozen in the freezer.
